New gadgets get the wrong transform if the gadget menu is closed before the gadget is dropped

No idea why, but to repro:
- grab the gadget menu
- grab a gadget out of the menu
- let go of the gadget menu
- Let go of the gadget
- Gadget will pop someplace else that seems to be related to where the gadget menu was when it went away.
