As the doubling rate of medical information grows exponentially, the need for fuzzy concepts in the clinical field also grows. One application area in the healthcare industry that has received little attention from fuzzy logic concepts is care management. As care management grows in popularity, opportunities for how fuzzy logic can be used for this application will become apparent.
