🚧 [WIP] auto install

A command to apply configs in NixOS. It's currently not working but one day I'll fix it.

manual install

git clone https://github.com/a2not/nixos-config.git ~/nixos-config

system build

cd ~/nixos-config
sudo nixos-generate-config --show-hardware-config > ~/nixos-config/nixos/hardware-configuration.nix
git add -A
just build-system

home-manager

just build-home

nix-darwin

make sure to install Homebrew beforehand.

check flake metadata

this comes in handy especially when wanting to check if we're properly setting inputs.<some_package>.follows.

nix flake metadata

debug nix flake

to debug the output (and/or inputs or everything in between) of the nix flake.

nix repl
