My humble attempt to use Python and the package EinsteinPy to derive the field equations for various metrics. For explicit examples that derive the Einstein Field Equations see the notebooks: "Structure of the singularities produced by colliding plane waves by Yurtsever", "General Numerical Solution of Cylindrical Waves by Piran Safier and Stark" and "GowdyMetric". Collapse_in_AdS

This set of codes is related to my bachelor's thesis work at the University of Michigan. I am trying to solve a kinetic equation describing how a massless scalar field will collapse in anti de-Sitter space as a function of time. This has implications for the AdS-CFT correspondence, where gravity theories in the bulk of an anti-de Sitter space have a connection to quantum field theories on the hypersurface bounding that space.
