VeggieTorta / Ubuntu_Macbook_Air

A Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Unity build around a Mid-2011 Macbook Air. This is an opinionated retooling with the removal and inclusion of program that meets my personal needs. The idea being, one script to run on a fresh install.

Instructions:

• Download to home folder
• Open Terminal, type:

    $ cd ~/Ubunut_Macbook_Air
    $ sh Initial_Installer.sh

Hardware:

• Macbook Air (13-inch, Mid 2011)
• Intel Core i5
• 4GB RAM 1333 MHz DDR3
• 128GB flahs storage
• Intel HD Graphics 3000 processor, 384MB of DDR3 SDRAM

Software:

• OS: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS / 64 bit
• Power management:

• Theme: Paper

• Dropbox
• Password Gorilla

TODO:

• Clear out TODOs found in Initial_Installer.sh
• List out removed programs
• Modify start-up applications
• Create script that gives option to modify home folder.
• Add github images before and after of this project
• Clean-up script
