Support for ASAP7 (open source 7nm PDK)

Hi,

I'd be very interested in using OpenRAM with a more modern process technology and ASAP7 seems like a good choice as its open source and available.

I found this guide for porting to a new technology but It would be helpful if there was more exhaustive documentation for such a process (like how long would this take? what are the major challenges?, etc)

Hi,

They have still not made the bitcells etc of ASAP7 available as far as I know. We'd happily accept contributions regarding this.

The challenges will be many to enumerate. I can't make a specific list of "Do x, then y, then z." But that page is a good start.
