The Automated Feedback System for Press Information Bureau (PIB) is a software solution designed to monitor and categorize news articles and videos published in regional languages across various media sources. It employs Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques to provide real-time feedback to the Government of India regarding news sentiment and departmental relevance.
- Web Scraping: Automatically collects news articles from around 200 regional media websites.
- Closed Captioning Analysis: Identifies relevant portions of YouTube news videos using closed captioning or audio-to-text conversion.
- Sentiment Analysis: Determines news tonality as positive, negative, or neutral.
- Departmental Classification: Categorizes news stories into relevant government departments based on predefined tags.
- Real-time Notifications: Notifies concerned PIB officers of negative news stories immediately.
- User-friendly Dashboard: Provides a user-friendly interface for monitoring news content and sorting/filtering options.
