This repository contains a security analysis of some of the leading instant messaging (IM) platforms as of 2020. The main focus of this report was on the cryptgraphic security measures taken by the various IM platforms. The goal of this paper was to identify the most secure IM platform. Security of platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Signal Messenger, WeChat, Telegram, Wire Messenger and a few more are analysed in this report.
