Clean Editor is a lightweight, web-based code editor that is designed for editing and testing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code. It is powered by the Monaco Editor, a powerful code editor that provides features such as syntax highlighting, local storage, code auto completion, and more. Clean Editor is ideal for developers, students, and anyone looking for a simple and clean environment to write and test code.

Getting Started

To start using Clean Editor, follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit the Clean Editor website at [https://sylvan452.github.io/cleaneditor/]

  2. You will be presented with a clean and simple code editor interface.

  3. You can start writing your HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code in their respective sections.

  4. As you type, you will experience syntax highlighting and code auto completion.

  5. As you type your code, you will see a Preview right side of the editor.

  6. To switch between different themes, use the "Themes" dropdown menu.

Clean Editor is an open-source project, it was part of our final project for ALX Software Engineering program and we welcome contributions from the community. If you would like to contribute, please follow these steps:

  1. Fork the Clean Editor repository on GitHub at [ https://github.com/Sylvan452/cleaneditor ]

  2. Clone your forked repository to your local machine.

  3. Make your changes and improvements.

  4. Create a new branch for your changes and commit your work.

  5. Push your changes to your GitHub repository.
