The TabTimer extension is a simple timer for Google Chrome that allows users to track time and manage breaks. This extension is designed to provide a straightforward timer feature without tracking user activity.

Installation

To install the TabTimer extension, follow these steps:

  1. Download the extension files to your computer.

  2. Open Google Chrome.

  3. Click the three vertical dots in the top right corner to open the Chrome menu.

  4. Select "Extensions" from the menu.

  5. Enable "Developer mode" by toggling the switch in the top right corner of the Extensions page.

  6. Click the "Load unpacked" button.

  7. Navigate to the directory where you downloaded the extension files and select the folder.

  8. The TabTimer extension will be installed and appear as an icon in the Chrome toolbar.

How to Use

  1. Click the TabTimer extension icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the timer.

  2. Click the "Start" button to begin the timer. The timer will count up from zero.

  3. To pause the timer, click the "Pause" button. Click "Resume" to continue.

  4. To reset the timer to zero, click the "Reset" button.
