bias-T

Two small DC bias injector/extractor PCB's. They makes it possible to power relays or other equipment without a additional separate DC cable. DC voltages up to 60 volts is OK.

The injector board has a holder for a 1A ATO fuse. All DC copper traces should handle 1.5 A. The RF traces are 2.5 mm wide.

The reason for the dual inductors is that in the event RF is present on the coax cable shield, the 100 uH inductor should stop it. All capacitors is ceramic SMD. The diode protects against reverse polarity and voltage spikes generated by relay coils. The PCB boards measures 42X56mm.

The components should handle 1000 W RF from 160 meters to and including two meters. That is 1.8 MHz to 145 MHz.

IMPORTANT!

That kind of RF power is not advised on FR4 based circuit boards! RT/duroid® Laminates or similar products is required. Please read: https://rushpcb.com/manufacturing-rf-and-high-frequency-boards/
