My Vim config directory (~/.vim)

Installation:

(Use git bash on Windows)
git clone https://github.com/ScottDWebster/dotvim.git ~/.vim

Create symlinks:

On Windows:

    cd %HOMEPATH%
    mklink /D .vim vimfiles  # create a directory link to vimfiles called .vim

On Linux/Unix (not necessary as vim checks first for ~/.vimrc and then ~/.vim/vimrc)

    ln -s ~/.vim/vimrc ~/.vimrc
    ln -s ~/.vim/gvimrc ~/.gvimrc

Switch to the ~/.vim directory, and fetch submodules:

cd ~/.vim
git submodule init
git submodule update

Install plugins via Vundle

Start `vim` and run `:PluginInstall`

To install from command line: `vim +PluginInstall +qall`

To update from GitHub:

git pull origin master

To push changes to GitHub:

git push
