Musical Family Tree

My first stab at computational art, attempting to study and appreciate the interconnectedness of the modern music industry. Within a specific genre, the same set of artists, producers, and songwriters are behind many of the biggest hits. And sometimes these people even cross over genres in surprising ways!

Steps

1. Get all saved albums from Spotify

2. Get all album artwork generated, and printed

3. Get all artists/songwriter/producer data on albums

4. Generate graph of data

5. Convert to a displayable format

6. Put up on wall
