Protect

Protect is a text editor that encrypts anything saved in it via AES and SHA-512. Tested with python 3.8.5.

Linux Install

python3 -m pip3 install -r requirements.txt

Windows Install

python -m pip install -r requirements.txt

Linux Usage

1. Give execution permissions (only needed the first time):

    chmod +x ./protect.py
   

2. Run the application:

    ./protect.py
   

or

1. Run the application

    python3 protect.py
   

Windows Usage

1. Run via python command

   python protect.py

or

1. Run via py command (if python command was not created)

   py protect.py
