This repo provides the packages for devcontainer features, hosted for free on GitHub Container Registry.

The name of the repo follows the naming convention of the source repo :

github .com/devcontainers/features

Packages

This repository contains a collection of the following features :

newman : command-line companion for Postman. Open source - Maintained and supported by community contributions.
postman : command-line companion for Postman. Closed source - Maintained and supported by Postman.
gitleaks : SAST tool for detecting and preventing hardcoded secrets to be leaked in git repo.

`newman`

It requires npm so must use a container with nodejs installed first.

Simply reference newman package inside your .devcontainer.json.

Example 1 : Pre-built node image - Debian Bullseye - 1.27 GB

Add the following files in .devcontainer.json file
