Density Parameters of the Benchmark FLRW cosmological model

This small project of mine uses the Benchmark model of the FLRW metric and try to solve for the

\Omega_{t} = 1
and \Omega_{k} ~ 0 and hence as a result I obtain the values of the other three (two independent) parameters.

The method I used is:

  1. Obtain the raw values from the Pantheon database of the SN1a and further process it to make "made.csv" file to make it ready for further porcessing, plotting and error propogation.

  2. Using the SciPy curve fit function fit a function of Linear as well non-linear nature to better approximatre for the Luminosity distances' analyutical formula, which can be expressed in a Taylor expansion of the complicated integral expression.

  3. Using the rectangular integration (simplest algorithm) plot for the thus obtained values of the Parameter H_0 and the \Omega_m (in our case).

A pdf file of the project report is inlcuded in the repository. Please check that out for the further details regarding the project.

Thanks and feel free to ping regarding any little question that may arise. Happy to help!
