Encrypt a File

Requirements

• Python 3.6+

Usage

1. Clone the repository or download the encrypt_file.py script.

2. Install the required dependencies using the following command:

   pip install cryptography

3. Open a terminal or command prompt and navigate to the directory where the encrypt_file.py script is located.

4. Run the script with the following command:

   python encrypt_file.py

Security Considerations

• Keep your encryption key secure. Losing the key may result in permanent data loss.
• Use a strong and unique encryption key for each file.
• Regularly backup your encrypted files to prevent data loss.
