Can we use Intel® RealSense™ Depth Camera D435i for obstacle avoidance / collission prevention?

I saw the documentation says the officially supported camera is D435.

But I want to know if the Intel® RealSense™ Depth Camera D435i is also compatible for obstacle avoidance and collision prevention?

Is there any limitation or drawback if I use D435i?

It seems there are some extra features in D435i, so just want to ask before I buy.

Hi,
I strongly believe it compatible ,,, there is no different between d435,d435i except the IMU that comes with d435i.
both cameras will publish same rostopics
