This plugin is an interface to the ECMWF data catalogue.

ECMWF python package - can be installed from: https://software.ecmwf.int/wiki/display/WEBAPI/Accessing+ECMWF+data+servers+in+batch#AccessingECMWFdataserversinbatch-python (This plugin is using python 2 so you may need to use pip2 command to install right version)

Registration
You will need to first sign up with the ECMWF website: http://apps.ecmwf.int/datasets/data/interim-full-daily/levtype=sfc/
You are then required to log into this page and create an access key. Follow the above link to create your access key.
