Installation and First Start: .DMG format

⚠ Due to the fact that the application is not digitally signed,
the operating system will try to prevent you to run it because of security concerns.
🟢 To run it you can hold the ⌥ aka Alt/Option key and right click the SSToolbox,
then Always Open With, open in the Terminal and then choose Open

First Start: .SH format

Permission denied

1. Running the terminal.
2. Type the command chmod u+x and press the Space bar
3. Drag the script file to the terminal window and press the Return key.

Running the script

1. Drag the script SSToolbox.sh to the terminal window.
2. Press the Return key.

Note

⚠ Enabling Full Disk Access in macOS for the terminal.
⚠ Some functions require Xcode or Xcode Command Line Tools.
🟢 The Xcode Command Line Tools can be installed using the Command 31

Tips

Terminal error: Operation not permitted

1. Pull down the  Apple menu and choose System Preferences
2. Choose Security & Privacy control panel.
3. Now select the Privacy tab, then from the left-side menu select Full Disk Access
4. Click the lock icon in the lower left corner of the preference panel.
5. Authenticate with an administrator level login.
6. Now click the [+] plus button to add an application with full disk access.
7. Navigate to the /Applications/Utilities/ folder.
8. Choose Terminal to grant Terminal with Full Disk Access privileges.

Not working: Self-sign the app Command 31

1. Install Xcode Command Line Tools or Xcode.
