NBCUniversal Markers Project

To Run:

1. clone down repo
2. cd into project dir
3. run "npm install" to install frontend dependencies (developed on npm v8.1.2 and node v16.13.1)
4. cd into ./api
5. create backend virtual env by running "python3 -m venv venv"(developed with Python v3.10.0)
6. activate the newly created venv by running "source venv/bin/activate"
7. install backend dependencies "pip install -r requirements.txt"
8. cd back into project root and run "npm run start-api" to start the flask backend
9. with the backend terminal still running, open a new terminal in project dir and run "npm run start" to start the react frontend
10. open browser to "http://localhost:3000/" and enjoy!
