This project was migrated into "rudder" main repository on 2020-03-04. The source has been rewritten in openapi specification format.

Synopsis

This repository contained the documentation fo Rudder HTTP APIs.

Usage (openapi/redoc)

Building the doc requires installing:

npm install -g redoc-cli @redocly/openapi-cli
  • openapi-cli build a single openapi file from the sources

  • redoc-cli produces the HTML output from the openapi file

Then run:

make openapi

And The resulting files will be in build/.

Usage (apidoc)

If you are interested about using Rudder REST API, you should simply look at the generated documentation.

The project is the one that manage the REST API web site creation. It is based on APIDoc (http://apidocjs.com).

The build needs NodeJS and npm, see: http://apidocjs.com/#install

To build the whole things, once nodejs is installed, just execute the build.sh script

Template update

Current version is 0.17.5.

To update the template from a new version of apidoc you need to get all of the new ${APIDOC_DIRECTORY}/template directory content except : - index.html that has been modified localy

index.html just has a slight modification located between 2 comments "XXX Local modifications XXX"
