Simple-Exercise-using-Watson-IoT-Platform
This repository provides an example of a Node-RED application that is supposed to grab sensor data from DHT11 sensor connected to a Raspberry Pi and visualize this data. Based on the sensor data gathered, an alert signal could be sent to notify the user that the sensor data (ie. temperature and/or humidity) are out side a defined range. This is just a simple exercise to show how to use Watson IoT Platform services to publish events from and to send commands to the Raspberry Pi.

This repository provides an example of a Node-RED application that grabs Tweets and analyzes the tone using the Tone Analyzer service available on IBM Cloud. Based on the tone, the developer then posts something on Twitter. In this repository, we keep it simple by just posting one of two types of messages (based on whether the tone of the grabbed tweet is positive or negative).
