Inventory Management System (IMS) was created in java for use in a small business.
The IMS is targeted towards beginner computer users, featuring a simple interface and pictures to accompany inventory items for quick identification of product. Additional features other than inventory management include sales analytics, and keeping track of wholesale vendors.
- Database needs retail information as well as wholesale information
- All items need to be easily categorized and/or searchable
- A simple security log-in for management to allow alteration of database information
- A sales analytics interface, perhaps with graphs or charts
- A dashboard alert system to help stock management and other items of importance
