PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

This project is a DIY hardware project and it's an Engine Rev Indicator used for SimRacing, an (1x8) RGB LED strip that lights up according to the revs of the car's engine in the simulator.

The purpose of this project is to improve immersion while playing Racing games.

The necessary components are few and they are really cheap.

No line of code is needed, as the integration is handled automatically by a third party software called SimHub.

In addition to the LED strip container there is a case for an Arduino Nano available for download.

Check the other version: (1x16).

Features

  • Lighting of the LEDs relating to the engine rev in a precise manner and without delay.
  • 100% customizable colors and range.
  • Flashing lights when redline is reached (Optional)
  • Compatible with all Racing games thanks to SimHub.
