Upload and set new image on the front page of the application with the help of IPFS and Goerli test network.

Prerequisites

• Node.js and npm
• MetaMask browser extension

Running the project locally

1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/MumushTayal/File_Storage_IPFS.git
2. Navigate to the project directory: cd File_Storage_IPFS
3. Install dependencies: npm install
4. Start the project: npm start
5. Open the project in your browser at http://localhost:3000

Setting up MetaMask

1. Install MetaMask as a browser extension
2. Create a new wallet or import an existing one
3. Connect to the Goerli test network
4. Add some test ether to your account through a faucet (e.g. https://goerli-faucet.slock.it/)
5. Refresh the page and interact with the project using the account connected to MetaMask

Deployed version

A deployed version of the project is available at https://picofday-mumukshtayal.netlify.app/. Before accessing it, make sure to set the network inside MetaMask to Goerli.

• (Will soon update the code to automatically switch the network to Goerli)

Note

Please note that the project is currently running on the Goerli test network, and any transactions made will use test ether.
