This repositary contains a python script that handles a csv file and generate a report to show departments and total number of employees working in that department.
- You need a csv file of employees that contains name, ID, department etc put this csv in a dir name data
- Make a new directory name scripts and put your script file there.
- Run this script but make sure that you are using a correct file path in the script for the csv file.
- After successfully running a script you will see a "test_report.txt" report is generated in the data dir having departments and count of employees working in the department.
- This is a sample script you can modify it according to your own needs.
