Roomie Finder is the must have app for every college. Transition from school to college is not easy. Getting a suitabloe roommate in the hostel, helps adjust faster and in a better way.
Each hosteler is supposed to fill a form, which includes some preferences of student and based on their filled preferences they are matched with most similar suitable roommate...
It is developed using Flask- Python, HTML and CSS.
First of all you have to prepare your environment. Select a location where you want to store the files and follow the following steps.
mkdir Projects
cd Projects
git clone https://github.com/Mohitkumar6122/Roomie-Finder
python3 -m venv virtenv
source venv/bin/activate
pip install -r requirements.txt
python hostel.py
It will create a Projects Folder which will contain all files of project.
Then after running hostel.py. A chrome window wll open which contains a interacive window where you can fill your form and after submiting it you will get the roll number of your most suitable roommate.

- HTML: Standard markup language for documents designed to be displayed in a web browse
- CSS: Style sheet language used for describing the presentation of a document written in a markup language such as HTML
