Longer explanation and a little lesson about wrappers versus ports: While this library still works fine on windows, it doesn't work well on other platforms, because it's a wrapper and uses compiled Windows C++ code. It is possible to make DLL's for each linux system and architecture, but that would be a lot of work for such a small library. I should have ported the C++ or Java code like the author of Anitomysharp did, it is just not worth it to make a wrapper for such a small code base and it would have been eassier to make a port (and would run on all platforms because it doesn't use DLLimports and uses .NET Core or .NET Standard framework). Thanks to tabratton for making AnitomySharp!

Anitomy.NET

.NET wrapper for Anitomy, a library for parsing anime video filenames.

Installation

Via Nuget:

Install-Package Anitomy.NET

Compatibility

Because this library uses .NET Standard 1.1, you can use it on a wide variety of platforms. See this list for the minimum platform versions.

C# Example

After putting using AnitomyNET; at the top of your code, you can parse a filename with the following code:

var result = Anitomy.Parse("[TaigaSubs]_Toradora!_(2008)_-_01v2_-_Tiger_and_Dragon_[1280x720_H.264_FLAC][1234ABCD].mkv");

result now has the following:

You can also give the Parse method options, an example:

As you can see, "BOX" is ignored, ReleaseGroup is not parsed and _ will not be used as a delimiter.
