Smartguard
The SmartGuard is an iOS application which helps users to take care of their homes and allows them to video chat with visitors. This IoT(Internet of Things)project consists of three components which are a Raspberry Pi with a PIR motion sensor, another Raspberry Pi with a speaker and camera that combined with a microphone and a IOS client end based on Swift 2.3.

While roaming around, this app will make use of the person’s location and provide him/her information of the famous places in that area. For instance, if a person is walking around South Bank and using this app, then he will automatically get a notification that he/she is near Eureka Tower which is a 297.3-metre (975 ft) skyscraper located in the Southbank precinct of Melbourne and is currently the 108th tallest building in the world. Such fascinating facts will make walking around Melbourne more exciting thereby turning a casual stroll into your own self-guided trip.
