Booking your trip with kiwi.com

  1. Scroll through your search results and click Book on your preferred trip.

Passenger details

The Passenger details screen appears. This screen allows you to review your trip’s itinerary, add your personal details, select your baggage requirements, choose travel insurance and, if required, add another passenger.

  1. Review the Trip summary section to ensure your trip's itinerary is correct.

  1. In the Contact details section, enter your contact details:
  • Email (Required)
  • Phone (Required)

Tip: To receive important text alerts about your journey, we recommend that you enter your mobile number.

  1. In the Primary passenger section, enter your personal details:
  • Given names (Required)
  • Surnames (Required)
  • Nationality (Required)
  • Gender (Required)
  • Date of birth (Required)
  • Passport or ID number (Required)
  • Passport or ID expiry date (Required)
  • Expiry date

Tip: To avoid complications when boarding, enter your given name and surname exactly as they appear on your passport or ID.

Tip: If your passport or ID do not have an expiry daye, select the No expiry check box.

  1. Under CABIN BAGGAGE, select from one of the two relevant options:
  • Personal item
  • Personal item + Cabin bag

Tip: Cabin baggage consists of smaller bags that are easily stored in an overhead locker or under your seat.

  1. Under CHECKED BAGGAGE, select from one of the three relevant options:
  • No checked baggage
  • 20kg Checked bag
  • 2 x 20kg Checked bag

Tip: Checked baggage consists of larger items that you must deposit at check-in before going through airport security.

  1. Under Travel insurance, select from one of the three options:
  • Travel Plus
  • Travel Basic
  • No insurance

Tip: Click Comparison and terms to view a detailed break-down of each insurance policy.

  1. To add an extra passenger to your trip's itinerary, click Add another passenger and repeat steps 4 through to 7.

  1. After you enter the relevant passenger details, click Continue.

Ticket fare

The Ticket fare screen appears. This screen allows you to select your ticket's flexibility regarding rebooking, cancellations, etc., and gives you the option of upgrading to our Premium service.

The Ticket fare screen displays the following three fare options:

  • Saver
  • Standard
  • Flexi

Tip: Click Learn more to find out about our fare flexibility levels.

  1. Click your preferred fare option, for example, Continue with Standard.

An Upgrade services section appears and displays the following two options:

  • Plus Services
  • Premium Services

  1. Click your preferred service option, for example, Continue with Plus.

Customize your trip

The Customize your trip screen appears. This screen allows you to choose your seat for the outbound and inbound legs of your journey as well as sign up to our AirHelp+ service.

  1. Under the Seating for your outbound journey section, expand the Select seats section and choose from one of the following four seating options:
  • Automatic
  • Window
  • Isle
  • Extra Legroom

Click Open seat map, select your preferred seat and then click Confirm selection to confirm your choice.

Tip: Choosing your own seat carries an extra cost. To undo a selected seat, return to the Seat map, click the relevant seat, and then click Deselect and Confirm selection to confirm.

  1. To select a seat under the Seating for your return journey, simply follow the instructions outlined in step 12.

  2. In the AirHelp+ section, click Add to avail of our flight compensation and cost reimbursement services.

  1. After you have customized your trip, click Continue.

Overview and payment

The Overview & payment screen appears. This screen allows you to review your travel itinerary, your passenger and baggage information, add your billing address and payment details, as well as confirm payment.

  1. In the Overview section, review your travel itinerary, passenger and baggage allowance details.

  1. To add your billing address, select the Edit invoice details check box in the Invoice details section.

  1. In the fields that appear, select the relevant address type and enter and select your personal details:
  • Personal (Required)
  • Company (Required)
  • Given names (Required)
  • Surnames (Required)
  • Country (Required)
  • Street address (Required)
  • City (Required)
  • Postal code (Required)

  1. To redeem a promo code, click Redeem promo code and, in the field that appears, enter your code and click Apply.

  1. In the Payment section, enter your debit or credit card details and, if you wish, select the Save card check box to save your payment details for future kiwi.com bookings:
  • Payment cared number (Required)
  • Expiry date (Required)
  • Security code (Required)
  • Cardholder's name (Required)
  • Save card

  1. To complete your booking, select the Terms & Conditions/Privacy Policy check box and click Pay to confirm.
