A simple, CakePHP based application, allows users to submit 'items' and vote on them. Currently in use for a "Hot or not" type application but could be used for anything.
Installation instructions:
1] Edit /app/Config/database.php and add your database details.
2] Edit /app/Config/core.php and edit the Security values.
3] Upload /app/schema.sql to your database server and import it.
4] Upload all the files to your server.
Enjoy.
All CSS is in /app/webroot/css - IMPORTANT, you will need to edit /app/View/Layouts/default.ctp and edit the line which points to the CSS file.
The "Wrapper" file is in /app/View/Layouts/default.ctp - you should only need to edit this file. (if you need to)
This application is using a RELEASE CANDIDATE version of CakePHP and should be considered BETA software at best. I make no assurances or guarantees that this will work on your set-up.
Note: The /Config directory hasn't been included (Git is being a git on my PC and won't commit it) so you'll need to download the contents of that from CakePHP.org
