`lab` table - understanding the difference between 'labmeasurenameinterface' and 'labmeasurenamesystem'

Hi,
I'm struggling to understand the difference in meaning between labmeasurenameinterface
and labmeasurenamesystem
. If I look at a labname like CRP
or CRP-hs
, there doesn't seem to be a consistent pattern between their units (in terms of either mg/L
or mg/dL
).
To give an example using the following sampled table, I am struggling to figure out the actual unit for the value in labresult
and also why labresult
and labresulttext
will sometimes (but not always) differ by a factor of 10.
For the latter issue - as far as I can tell, this only happens when labmeasurenameinterface
is mg/L
, but not all the time, and not with any correlation to labmeasurenamesystem
. Any insights here?
