The Things3 Chrome Extension is a simple and convenient tool that allows you to save tasks to Things3 directly from your Chrome browser.

- v1.1: Adjusted extension logic, directly using URL Schemes to invoke the global Quick Entry widget.
- v1.0: Quickly added tasks from Chrome by invoking URL Schemes. Please note that Things3 does not support adding non-existing projects and tags through URL Schemes. So, please add the existing project names and tags in Things3 via the settings page before using.
- Clone or download this repository.
- Open the Chrome browser and go to
chrome://extensions. - Enable the "Developer mode" toggle in the top right corner.
- Click on "Load unpacked" and select the extension folder you cloned/downloaded.
- The Things3 Chrome Extension will be installed and ready to use.
- Click on the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar or right-click on a webpage and select "Save to Things3" to open the input dialog.
- Enter the task name and note in their respective input fields.
- Press the "Save" button to add the task to Things3.
Note: Please be aware that Things3 does not support adding tasks to non-existent projects or tags via URL Schemes.
