I have given some space to my interest in psychonometrics and have tried to validate / disprove the BigFive-personality-test. The BigFive is basically a low-rank approximation of personality. In the case where each personality dimension is estimated using only questions from that category (i.e. I did not use answers to questions from category "C" to estimate dimension "A"), I show that the test contradicts the basic assumptions of the BigFive.
