As an internet revolution now people use online purchasing rather than directly go shopping. So, E-commerce data have to analysis and find the use full information about the business and make decisions accordingly. So, Here I used, Ecommerce data it contains various features like region, product type, sales and price etc. So, This data was queried by Power-Bi and Finally, Dashboard was created.

Ecommerce Sales Data Analysis Using Power-BI

Introduction

In the wake of the Internet revolution, people now prefer to shop online rather than buying directly from their local stores. Therefore, e-commerce data needs to be analysed to determine the full benefit of the information about the business and make appropriate decisions. So here I have used e-commerce data which includes various characteristics like region, product type, sales and price etc. So this data was interrogated by Power-Bi and finally a dashboard was created.

Process Flow

  1. Cleaned and transformed data using Power Query

  2. Added various synchronised slicers and advanced filters to extract the information related to year, region, country etc..

  3. Created interactive visualizations like “Q&A”, Charts, and Gauges with conditional formatting and page-level Tooltips

  4. Created drill-through option between pages that are navigated by buttons. Also, created calculated measures using DAX

  5. Implemented row-level security based on region and finally, published the visualizations on Power BI Service..
