# KI Bot

KI Bot is a chat application built with Flask and Google Generative AI, designed to provide an interactive chat interface. The application leverages the power of the Gemini-pro model to generate responses in real-time.

## Prerequisites

- Python 3.7+
- Flask
- Google Generative AI API key

## Installation

1. **Clone the repository:**

   ```bash
   git clone https://github.com/your-username/ki-bot.git
   cd ki-bot
  1. Create and activate a virtual environment:

    python -m venv venv
    source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows use `venv\Scripts\activate`
  2. Install the required packages:

    pip install flask google-generativeai
  3. Configure your API key:

    Replace "YOUR_API_KEY" in kibot.py with your actual Google Generative AI API key.

Usage

  1. Run the Flask application:

    python kibot.py
  2. Access the application:

    Open your web browser and go to http://127.0.0.1:5000.

  3. Interact with the chat bot:

    Type your message in the input box and press Enter or click the send button to receive responses from the bot.

Project Structure

  • kibot.py: The main application file containing the Flask setup and route handlers.
  • templates/: Directory for HTML templates (currently using render_template_string for simplicity).
