Journal is a module for Liferay 7.0 that allows non-technical users to publish content to a Liferay site without having advanced knowledge of web technology or programming of any sort.
Liferay Journal is part of the Liferay Portal project. [Liferay Portal] (http://www.liferay.com/community/liferay-projects/liferay-portal) is an open source enterprise web platform for building business solutions that deliver immediate results and long-term value. Liferay Portal started out as a personal development project in 2000 and was open sourced in 2001.
To get started, check out the project's community homepage at http://liferay.org!
Take a look at the Liferay Portal User Guide for information about using Liferay Portal.
For more information about how to use Journal, read the [Creating Web Content] (https://dev.liferay.com/discover/portal/-/knowledge_base/7-0/creating-web-content) section.
We welcome any and all contributions! If you have an idea for a new plugin or a new feature in an existing plugin, and wish to implement it, just send a pull request to the user @liferay and to the branch master and we will start a discussion there around your changes.
In order to execute the unit and integration tests locally, you should do the following:
