EventShip is an app that addresses that issue by creating a platform where interested people can vote on scheduling a particular event given some parameters. Once there's enough votes, the event becomes a reality. No more wondering if whether you'll be the only one attending, even if there's 100s of people who have signed up showing interest in meeting up BUT may.. actually... be robots.
