Oasis Infobyte Internship (Python Programming)

Welcome to the OIBSIP repository! This project is an Internship repo built using Python, Django. The "Browser-Based Chat Application" and "Simple Password Generator" are built mainly using a python framework called DJANGO.

How to Run the Project

To run them on your local machine, follow these steps: Open your Terminal in VScode

1. Clone the repository using the following command:

   git clone https://github.com/Jayteemighty/OIBSIP.git
   

2. Navigate to the project directory:

   cd 'Browser-Based Chat Application'
   or
   ````bash
   cd 'Simple Password Generator'
   
   Depends on the web app you are trying to view.
   

3. Install the required dependencies:

   pip install -r requirements.txt
   

4. Run the database migrations:

   python manage.py migrate
   

5. Start the development server:

   python manage.py runserver
   

6. Access the chosen web APP by visiting http://localhost:8000 in your web browser.

The "BMI calculator" was built using tkinter so you can just run it to get the GUI on your PC directly.
