G2S Skipping

Hello and Happy New Year!
About a month ago on my Voron Trident I replaced my CW2 with G2E. Everything went absolutely fine, printer has already more than 300 hours of printing and absolutely no problem at all. The print quality is fantastic, CW2 was also performing nice but some artifacts/inconsistencies I had observed on some specific models are totally gone with G2E.
Based on this I ordered a second kit for my V0.2, a printer I use specifically for ABS/ASA printer parts and prototypes. So far had MiniSB and Phaetus Dragon SF and had no problems. Last night I assembled the G2S Standalone version which is suitable for V0. For cowling, I used hartk's cowling specifically designed for G2S (basically it is a half-cut version of MiniSB). Assembly went fine I think, all parts got into place with minimal or no hassle.
However, extruder is skipping. It is skipping even when extruding at 5mm/s when trying to load filament. At first it was skipping like hell because the custom extruder gear was a tiny bit off the filament path as I observed when opening the latch. I moved it a tiny bit to align it and now it goes much better, but still skips, like a click every full shaft round.
I tried to figure out what maybe could go wrong before posting here. The hotend is the same as I used before, and I doubt if it is the problem as 5mm/s is not a very high speed even for a SF hotend. I will change the HE fan to exclude all possibilities.
I also experimented with the latch tension, but I figured out that even with significant pressure, I also get skips.
Does anybody else has similar experience? I have put run_current = 0.6 as the manual says (and works fine on my G2E), shall I experiment on that also?
Thanks in advance!

Crap, my mistake, switched from StepperOnline 0.9 degrees motor to LDO 1.8 and didn't change full_steps_per_rotation from 400 to 200. Apologies.
