TMCMapTracker

Content

This is a pack for EmoTracker designed for the Minish Cap Randomizer. You can easily download it from within the EmoTracker application.

This pack allows you to keep track of the items you've collected and what item locations you can reach with those items. This pack also now supports autotracking for the Bizhawk Emulator only.

Questions

How do I turn on autotracking?

  1. Open Bizhawk.
  2. Go to Config -> Customize -> Advanced
  3. Under Lua Core, check the option for Lua+LuaInterface.
  4. Go to GBA -> Core and make sure mGBA is selected.
  5. Restart Bizhawk to enact these changes.
  6. Go to Tools -> Lua Console
  7. In the console, go to Script -> Open Script
  8. Navigate to where you installed EmoTracker. (This is C:/Program Files/EmoTracker/Connectors/bizhawk by default)
  9. Double click on the file named 'connector'.
  10. In EmoTracker, right click on the little robot icon in the bottom right corner.
  11. Go to GBA, then click Lua.
  12. If you followed these directions, the little robot should turn cyan.
  13. Enjoy the game.

Variants

This pack currently offers four variants:

  1. Map Tracker
  2. Items-Only
  3. Keysanity Map tracker
  4. Keysanity Items-Only

Settings

There are currently 5 settings for the randomizer. As the randomizer progresses, other settings will be added.

  1. The pot represents obscure locations. This means some pots, digging spots, and diving spots are also randomized.
  2. The Kinstone bag represents the kinsanity mode. In open, all fusions are completed from the start of the game and the locations they unlock will be considered in logic. In none, all fusions are vanilla, but the rewards are not randomized.
  3. The Darknut represents the Dark Hyrule Castle requirement. In Closed, the requirement is the same as vanilla. You must get the Four Sword and the Four Elements. In Open, DHC is open from the beginning of the game, so you just have to find the items needed to beat the dungeon and the final boss In Ped, DHC is open and items are shuffled onto the pedestal, with checks added after you get 2, 3, and 4 elements. In None, the game ends when you go to the pedestal after completing the set goal of getting a certain number of swords and/or elements.
  4. The Sword indicates the required number of swords to get for opening DHC.
  5. The Elements indicates the required number of elements to get for opening DHC.
