Eidoo Token supply calculator

A tool to calculate the circulating supply of the Eidoo Token (EDO).

How the EDO token supply works

The EDO token was created with a limited supply, it can be decreased by using the burn() method of the EidooToken smart contract but cannot be increased. This behaviour can be verified on the contract source code.

A big amount of EDO tokens was immediatelly locked after the ICO, so the circulating supply is less than the total supply obtained by the totalSupply() method of the EDO token smart contract.

There are two types of locks for the EDO token.

Tokens loked until a specific release date

These tokens are held by a TokensTimeLock smart contract and they are claimable by a beneficiary only after the specified release date.

Tokens progressively released

There are 65 early investors that have a certain amount of their tokens locked and they will be released progressively up to the block number 5149479. The number of locked tokens for each address can be obtained calling the method lockedBalanceOf on the EidooToken contract

The default json rpc address is http://localhost:8545, if you want to use a different address you can provide it using the -e argument.
