This is based off of some of Nick vs Networking Posts on Kamailio, please check them out
This is meant to be an easy way to spin up docker compose with kamailio and asterisk. I wanted an enviroment to easily try things with kamailio, there is no db but you could easily add one. The dispatcher uses a list if you would like to add more asterisk servers and the current dispatcher is activated by defining DISPATCH. This also installs sngrep into the kamailio docker for watching what is going on.
-
clone project
-
docker-compose up --force-recreate --build --scale asterisk=3
-
Point your softphone at 127.0.0.1:5060
You can edit the kamailio.cfg and rerun this as many times as you like.
- docker exec -it kamailio-asterisk-docker-compose_kamailio_dispatcher_1 /bin/bash
- docker exec -it kamailio-asterisk-docker-compose_kamailio_pg_1 /bin/bash
- docker exec -it kamailio-asterisk-docker-compose_asterisk_1 /bin/sh
- docker exec -it kamailio-asterisk-docker-compose_asterisk_2 /bin/sh
- docker exec -it kamailio-asterisk-docker-compose_asterisk_3 /bin/sh
- docker exec -it kamailio-asterisk-docker-compose_kamailio_database_1 /bin/bash
I have commented out all mariadb as I prefer using postgres but you can use it by commenting out postgres and uncommenting mariadb stuff.
