Personal scripts This is a repo with many of my personal scripts.

| healthcheck.sh | This script will send a ping to Healthcheck.io, must be configured after backup in Duplicati |
| Change_plymouth_theme.sh | This script will change the plymouth theme using Dracut |
| get_external_ip.sh | This script is used in conjunction with get_dns_and_external_ip.sh which is a Waybar custom script to show the current DNS provider and the external IP in the infotip. It will fetch your external ip with Ifconfig.me and dump it in a textfile at /var/log/externalip.log. |
| ChangeDNS.sh | This script will change the current DNS provider. I use it to switch from my personal pi-hole to 9.9.9.9 when the adblocker of pi-hole is too restrictive for a website. I use this script when I click on my custom DNS waybar module |
| Set_login_bg.sh | This script changed the SDDM theme when an update reverts it back to the default theme |
| before_backup.sh | This script runs before any of my backups to make sure of: 1. Sail is not running 2. No other docker container is running 3. Zellij sessions are closed 4. SSHFS is unmounted |
| node_exporter_directory_size.sh | This script is used in conjunction with directory-size-exclusion.txt and launch with the systemd service node_exporter_directory_size.service. It will write the sizes of specific folders called after the command (see node_exporter_directory_size.service for example) to a prometheus textfile collector. |
| test_apps_after_update.sh | I run Hyprland on Arch, so yeah, things break more often than I'd like. This script runs automatically after a reboot and tests a bunch of apps to see if anything important broke |
| QTowerBak.sh | This script is used in conjunction with QTowerBak-exclusions.txt. It runs every day and creates a backup of my home folder and the list of apps I currently use. It keeps a backup for the last 7 days. |
