こんにちは！👋🍣🇯🇵 Kanjikakikikai is a simple flash-card style application designed to help intermediate learners of Japanese learn how to write kanji characters. Kanjikakikikai assumes an intermediate knowledge of Japanese vocabulary and an ability to read and write hiragana.
or try it out on- When the application starts you will be prompted to write a word in kanji. Use a stylus, your finger, or a mouse to write the kanji on the blue shaded canvas.
- Touch check answer and check your answer against the computer's. Click or touch any kanji to see an animation of its stroke order.
- If you determine that you made a mistake click NO and practice writing the kanji until you feel that you have mastered it.
Signing up allows users to create, store, and edit their own personal study sets.

Kanjikakikikai is a progressive web app (PWA), meaning it is a web application that is possible to save on your mobile device's (or desktop computer's) homescreen. For the best user experience we highly recommend homescreen installation. Directions for how to install on iOS and Android can be found here.
Kanjikakikikai is best used on a mobile touch screen device with a stylus, although mouse use is also supported.
