As part of Modelling and Simulation project, we had implemented this famous Schelling’s model which looks at the segregation of the two groups in particular area. We implemented this model using the rules of cellular automata.
Genetic-Algorithms
Using genetic algorithms to find the best cellular automata for creating a checkerboard pattern out of a random (black or white) configuration on a 2D grid. Attached is the animation of the winner automata, which over the span of few hundred iterations creates the checkerboard pattern.
