Get the extension from the Chrome Web Store

Set up steps

Standalone

1. Download the files
2. Open the .html file in a browser

As an unpacked extension

1. Download the files
2. Go to the Chrome Extensions page
3. Enable 'Developer mode' (top-right toggle switch)
4. Click 'Load unpacked extension'
5. Select the folder containing this project's files
6. Confirm

It should now be added to your Chrome browser. Clicking the 'Refresh' icon under the extension in the extension settings page will reload the extension with any changes applied to the files.

As a packed extension

1. Download the files
2. Go to the Chrome Extensions page
3. Enable 'Developer mode' (top-right toggle switch)
4. Click 'Pack extension'
5. Click 'Browse' in the 'Extension root directory' input
6. Select the folder containing this project's files
7. Pack the extension

In the directory above the one containing the project files should now be a .crx file, this can now be dragged into the Chrome extension settings page to be loaded as a Chrome extension.
