Online stores backend prototype

Purpse

• To create a prototype of a backend system getting data from a MySQL Server
• In this situation it is an online store where customers can make purchases and managers can handle inventory

Usage

• There are two files whose purposes will be outlined below
• When the file is run questions will prompt the user to input information in order to get what they need accomplish. Once that task is completed, the process terminates.

Customer

• The "onlineStores.js" file handles the purchasing of products for customers
  • Input the item ID

Management

• The "onlineStoresManager.js" includes more advanced features for someone at the store who would control inventory.
  • See low inventory
  • See all products
  • Add new items
  • Add inventory to current stock
  • View sales by dept
