yst is a version of st with some suckless patches already applied to it.
The compiled executable will still be named st.
Additional patches can be applied by sourself. I use them for my automated install scripts.
- fontsize28 (Own patch to increase the font size to 28)
- openbsd
config.mk.openbsd includes the libraries and for flags OpenBSD. Rename that file to config.mk to compile for OpenBSD.
Fire Code Nerd Font is required (Or just change the font yourself).
st is a simple terminal emulator for X which sucks less.
In order to build st you need the Xlib header files.
Edit config.mk to match your local setup (st is installed into the /usr/local namespace by default).
Afterwards enter the following command to build and install st (if necessary as root):
make clean install
If you did not install st with make clean install, you must compile the st terminfo entry with the following command:
tic -sx st.info
